Every flower has a memory, a story, or is a reminder for me. I am always inspired by the beauty, elegance and tranquillity of the nature and light, and I find watercolour the most tender medium to capture a hint of such beauty. When painting with watercolour, I must surrender and be at the present moment, to let the colours run through water and trust that they will manifest how I feel at that moment.
Ordibehesht, the second month of Spring in Persian calendar, is the Iris season in Tehran. Always blooming in time so I could take a big bunch to school for the teachers’ day. Our class was filled with flowers on the day, believe it or not, that was one of the main codes forming in my brain to love teaching.

Details
My artworks are signed at the front and are sold unframed. Framing is a personal choice and most people prefer to choose their own frame, based on their interior design. If you receive the artwork in the mailing tube, please remove it as soon as possible and allow it to rest. When framing a watercolour painting, please ensure to use a Paspartu (a cardboard frame) to prevent the glass and the image from touching, and also to increase the visual appeal of the painting. Using a Paspartu will increase the framing size, though.
Size
53 cm (W) x 53 cm (H)
The measures provided are based on size of the watercolour surface. There are small margins that will be covered by Pasrpartu, when framing.
