Resilient Paper Daisies_SOLD
Every flower has a memory, a story, or is a reminder for me. I am always inspired by the beauty, elegance and tranquillity of flowers, nature and light, and I find watercolour the most tender medium to capture a hint of such beauty. When painting with watercolour, I must surrender and be at the present moment, to let the colours run through water and trust that they will manifest how I feel at that moment.
I saw paper Daisies for the first time, in Australia . To me, they are the reminder of resistant and resilient wild flowers grown on Alborz mountain range, near the city of Damavand. Not much rain during summer, harsh sun, and they were among the most beautiful flowers I had seen.
I received this bunch as a thank you, after 3.5 years of working with our students to overcome different obstacles, during their degree. A great reminder of resilience and beauty I saw in many of our amazing young students.

Details
My artworks are signed at the front and are sold unframed. Framing is a personal choice and most people prefer to choose their own frame, based on their interior design. When framing a watercolour painting, please ensure to use a Paspartu (a matboard frame) to prevent the glass and the image from touching, and also to increase the visual appeal of the painting. Using a Paspartu will increase the framing size, though.
Size
25 cm (W) x 35 cm (H)
The measures provided are based on size of the watercolour surface. There are small margins that will be covered by Pasrpartu, when framing.
